What is Ellacor with Micro-Coring Technology?

Ellacor with Micro-Coring Technology is the first and only device of its kind that removes skin on the microscale with 90% of patients showing an improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles. Ellacor provides natural-looking results without the pain associated with more invasive surgery or procedures. Over 86% of patients are satisfied with their ellacor results!

How Does Ellacor Work?

Ellacor uses hollow needles to remove micro-cores of skin, resulting in an improved appearance of
moderate to severe wrinkles in the mid and lower face without the evidence of scarring.

Benefits of an ellacor Micro-Coring Procedure

  • In-office procedure performed under local anesthesia
  • Visible, natural-looking results
  • 90% of patients showed improvement in moderate to severe wrinkles1
  • Precisely removes excess skin from targeted areas

Who is an Ideal Candidate for a Micro-Coring Procedure?

Ellacor is ideal for patients looking for a non-surgical solution for mid-to-lower face wrinkles and excess
skin. Ellacor is approved for Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV, which means it may not be a good option for
patients with darker skin tones. Ellacor should not be performed on people who have medical conditions
that inhibit proper wound healing and women who are pregnant.

What to Expect from an ellacor Micro-Coring Procedure?

On the day of your procedure, you will receive a local anesthetic to the treated area to help you stay
comfortable during the procedure. Once your skin is numb, your provider will strategically place the
ellacor device to your skin to create micro-cores in a precise grid pattern. Excess skin will be removed
through hollow needles, but the micro-cores are so tiny that they will begin to heal almost immediately.
