HOW MUCH DOES BROADBAND LIGHT THERAPY (BBL™) COST?
At OptimalSelf MD, we understand that you want to feel good about yourself, yet cost may be a primary consideration. We recommend that you schedule a consultation as a first step. We charge a fee for an in-office consultation. As part of the consultation, we explain your broadband light therapy cost and payment can be made by cash, check, and credit card. We also work with CareCredit® and Alphaeon® to offer our patients financing options.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BROADBAND LIGHT THERAPY (BBL™)?
Dr. Shawn views our BBL™ laser treatment as a good option for most patients, but not all. Men and women who have darker skin may want to avoid skin rejuvenation with broadband light therapy and choose one of our other types of treatments. Dr. Shawn provides the expert guidance that you need to find the solution that best suits your needs and the needs of your skin.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING BROADBAND LIGHT THERAPY (BBL™)?
BBL™ laser treatments take 30 to 60 minutes. The light energy is applied to the skin in short bursts, and you may notice a mild warmth.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO RECOVER FROM BROADBAND LIGHT THERAPY (BBL™)?
After your BBL™ laser treatment, your skin may be slightly red and mildly swollen. These symptoms tend to last only a few days at most. Over the following week, expect dark spots to darken slightly and then start to flake. This indicates that your skin is generating new skin cells that will closely match the surrounding skin.
